Erin Elizabeth Duncan

Erin grew up in rural Northwest Arkansas. She loved living in the country and she loved animals. Always bringing in strays to take care of. She got her first horse when she was about 12. He was just a trail horse but she began taking him to play days and training him to run barrels in an old garden spot at home. It wasn’t long till she had molded him into a competent barrel horse. Barrel racing became her sport and from then on she could always be found at a jackpot or rodeo around the area. After high school she attended Connors State College where she was a barrel racer on the school’s rodeo team.

Erin was a wonderful person who loved helping people in need of a friend. She was a country girl who enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as riding her horses. She was just as at home in a pair of camouflage, or her boots and spurs, as she was in a formal dress.

She was full of courage, adventure, and competitive spirit. Erin had the qualities that the world is in so much need of today. She had good character, common sense, and a caring heart for others. However, God called her home at the young age of 22.
